This shit almost gets on my nerves. I don't want to sound like a racist, but it's almost like minorities always have something to whine about. At least she is speaking up though. Props to her. But for the record, it's getting to the point where if African Americans want (insert something), they are going to have to do it themselves. The white man (the government) isn't going to give it to them, and even if they would give it to them, they should have more dignity. I mean the whole bullshit about the "white man" holding them down is over. That was so 40 years ago. It's just a bullshit excuse. Not just blacks, or minorities, but ANYONE whining about not having this or that needs to get off their ass and make things work. No one is going to do something for you. Be self reliant. Then again, I'm a lower-middle-class white kid, so fuck it, what do I know? I don't live the life of an urban black man. So let it be. It just seems like if someone isn't whining about this, they're whining about that. Do it yourself if you want it that bad. Take shit. /rant

I wish menace was here... this would be a great conversation for him to get in on. Remember like 2 years ago when I kicked myself out of RHHF for starting a huge flame war over the N word!?!? Good times.....

your comments seemed a bit cold, you said african americans. implying that all of us bitch all the time. if we dont like something we should just take it. i admit sometimes in the media gets blown up but thats not the fault of the entire negro population and your comments although not intended damn sounded pretty damn racist you start big ass battles because sometimes you will say some ignorant ass shit. straight up

I kno that post wasnt directed towards me but seeing as Im black I see wat he's saying. But he also said "ANYONE who whines about the society" not just black ppl. Its not ignorant. Its true cuz in our community, there r a lot of ppl who still say this stuff, but we have a black president so there really isnt anything stopping us from moving up except ourselvs.

Quote (abanks47) you said african americans. implying that all of us bitch all the time. But notice a few letters later I said "anyone who bitches"? That isn't to say that I don't think ALOT of black people bitch (whether they are broke or not) simply because they are black. I live in an area where there are people from lower-middle-class all the way up into the upper class. There are alot of rich black kids, yet they constantly pull the "I'm black, I've been slighted, wah wah wah" card. Yeah, well I don't see a damn one of them having to get a job at 16. I don't see one of them whose daddy isn't buying them a fucking car AND paying for their insurance. I don't see a damn one of them doing anything except WHINING. It would be a tad different if they at least took action and tried to better themselves, but noooooo, they'd rather let mommy and daddy shelter them. Then you have the poor ones (NOT just African Americans do this, keep in mind.) who choose to sit on welfare and say "WELL I'M BLACK SO.... YEAH. I'M BLACK." You're black/mexican/a white person who was born less-well-off.. That gives you an excuse to live off taxpayer money? Cool. Get off your ass and make something of yourself, grow up. Not all black people, or minorites, or poor people in general are this way though. Many of these people DO get a job, DO support their families, DO have respect, and have learned that no one is going to just be like "Oh, poor you... You were slighted 500 years ago/at birth/whenever." Fuck that. Make a way for yourself. Anyways, way off topic. If my opinions make me a racist (even though you can look around and see this easily), then so be it. The song was dope-ish. Not totally awesome, but I think it was tight ass video. But like I said, the lyrical content just got on my nerves. I've heard it before. It's been overdone.

well i think the song is great, idk wtf you saw in the song bacon. i think you've completely missed the point of her video. she's talking about the way black people are acting today, the ignorant ways they're living after their ancestors faught so hard for them just to even have equal opportunities. how they have no role models, she is saying they need to start acting right, the exact opposite of what you thought she said so i have no idea wtf you watched bro, where did she say anything about it ok for black people to be lazy on welfare? she didn't her song is about the lack of good black role models
