Quote (El_Matador) btw Eminem is the number one, and he must be the greatest rapper of pretty much all time Yea i'll agree with that, Eminem is one of those few rappers that gets love from all versions of hip-hop lovers from mainstream, underground, gangstas, back pack, old school, new school, currently, men, women, black, white, etc. my family is a R&B family real talk but everybody in my family knows and respects eminem...he da only rapper we play in family reunions and everybody every age can sit down and eitha bump dey head or listen 2...everybody got they opinion but em touched all the fans in da hip-hop umbrella, i dont no any otha rapper dat can do dat now...it used 2 be jay...USED 2...but em is always in a hip-hop conversation and he did that under this generation
Mainground RHHF rap 16-7-0 69%(if u round its 70% doe) tournaments won =1 tournament record: 4-3 exhibition record: 12-4

How can u compare someone's bad work to someone's good work...thats pure bias lol Thats like comparing Encore to Illmatic just to say Nas is better....thats an unfair comparision..

I mean, listen, all of those beats are dirty south-ish. Really? What happened with the Eminem i liked? Beatwise, cause he's still bringing the heat

Beatwise, cause he's still bringing the heat Well his recent album, Recovery, he didnt produce with the usual team that made his classic albums (The Bass Brothers or Dr. Dre, plus contribution from himself) he relied on outside help this time (Mr. Porter, whom he never collabs with, and Boi-1da, who co-produced Drake's album as well as Forever) I cant just judge him off his beats tho cuz "Lyrically" Eminem has been murdering every MC since he stepped in the game. Even then, his beats (IMO) were still listenable and good to enjoy.

I only don't like the beats no more, ya know. I was used to hear him booming on east coast shit, and he ripped it. But now, with those dirty south beats, i'm getting Nastradamous flashbacks

He's also one of the few emcee's that was able to be lyrical and mainstream at the same time, its very rare to have that now days
