Ive been listening to that Celph Titled & Buckwild album and I have to say........
This also goes on my list for my top albums.
I never heard a buckwild beat before, but I do understand his style is the old school 90's steed...
So I was thinking...how would Celph sound on that kind of beat?
Apparently he sounds just fine. I like his growth as an MC.
I was expecting straight battle raps in this, but Celph thru in some variety and impressed me by his versatility.
And his punchlines r still as clever as they were since he was in Demigodz.
And lets not forget Buckwild....I dont kno much about his career, but listening to his beats, it makes me want to find out more. If he was a producer in the 90's (Correct me if Im wrong. He might've already been out in the 90's, idk this!) he would definately be top 10 throughout that decade!
Thx El Mat for the link and thx Muzzy for reminding me to get his album!

Buckwild is DITC. he's been around since 1993 and produced the majority of "Word... Life", the classic solo debut album by OC. check that album out if you haven't. the album sounds a lot like Illmatic. that's probably some of his best production. the album dropped the same year as Illmatic btw (1994). here's his wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buckwild

here's a cut from the album:

and here is another cut they did together:

as for him being top 10 in the 90's, it's arguable, but you need to remember that DJ Premier, J Dilla, Madlib, Pete Rock, RZA, Havoc, Alchemist, Dr. Dre, Hi-Tek, Marco Polo, etc., were all at the top of their game in the 90's as well.
