Goddamn u Muzzy! U beat me to make this thread lol
Anyways, here are favorite albums of 2010

1. Shad - TSOL
I listened to his single Yaa I Get It when it came out and I was surprised cuz I thought he was gonna be some winter-Canadian MC with no subject matter, but I was wrong. So I quickly went and "bought" The Old Prince, got shad-fever and waited patiently for TSOL to bless my ears. Easily the breakout MC of 2010.

2. Eminem - Recovery
U guys may think Eminem still don't have his old skills, but I personally think he came back into his old form with this release. His mind and rhymes was as sharp as ever. This shouldve been released in place of Relapse.

3. Drake - Thank Me Later
Perfect summer album. I bumped this album all summer during my job program and it spoke volumes for everything I experienced in my life to that point and still to this day. Not only was it relevent, but it was also dope. Drake's producer blessed Drake with smooth crisp beats and Drake flowed through the album from start to finish. Great debut!

4. Nas & Damien Marley - Distant Relatives
Nas + Jr. Gong???? What the hell were they smoking when they first met? Whatever it was, it couldnt have been at a better time. This was another album I bumped all summer. Nas returned to his old form and Damien was as precise with his english as a chainsaw preforming open-heart surgery, but nonetheless, he was on point! Top 5 album!

5. Reflection Eternal - Revolutions Per Minute
Talib Kweli & DJ Hi Tek returned after a break to release this long awaited sequel to great anticipation and acclaim. I personally thought Kweli was at his most lyrical than he has ever been EVER while Hi Tek rebounded from a long drought to make the studio rain after Blackstar's classic depature.

This is just a year of comebacks eh??
Though I enjoyed many many many more releases from 2009, 2010 was one of my favorites since 2007.

I dont feel like typing my last 5 favs..thatll be for a later date. Peace!
