good point, its definitly opinionated to a degree. i felt the tracks i posted were just a few of pacs great songs and still feel so.
i agree that they are great tracks. out of the ones you posted i would only consider Hail Mary a classic though. i'll explain what i mean about classic later in this comment though so read that before you respond to this lol.

yeah i felt the same, that question was for the most part aimed at eboyd since he felt so strongly that the tracks he posted are classic
it depends on your definition of the term classic. those weren't necessarily my favorite 2pac tracks, they were just ones that i felt were universal classics. when people refer to classics they are usually referring to the opinions of a specific group or individual. i would say that which is classic to an individual -- that which we know as a "personal classic" -- shouldn't be referred to as a classic. it is simply a personal favorite. what matters is the opinion of a large group. all i care about when it comes to calling a hip hop track a classic is the overall opinion of all people, the overall opinion of the hip hop community, and the overall opinion of people whose ears are specifically trained for hip hop music/music in general. the tracks i posted, while they aren't necessarily my favorite 2pac songs, are tracks that all of those groups could agree are his classics. i left out several, but i feel i got my point across.

the thread says great/classic songs, i wanted to try posting some stuff nobody really hears. not so much his singles. that song got my mind made up is definitely classic to me. some of pacs best lyrics, all star lineup especially at the time. and even a inspectah deck verse floating around.
it really depends on who you talk to when it comes to determining which tracks are classics, but in the sense of appeal to the masses, by definition, the stuff no one hears cannot be classic.
btw, the full version of that track (with Inspectah Deck's verse):
