the title of this thread seems ridiculous, it should be a known fact to anyone affiliated with this site that 2pac has made classic rap. if not than i shake my head at you.

2pac was a legendary MC, no doubt about that but the thing that makes 2pac corny in my opinion is the stan problem, he had/has too much zombie like stans. I grew up with 2pac's music i love 2pac and trough his music i understood many things but i never acted like a stan because i knew hip hop does not focus on one man.

Some of my fav 2pac songs:

i'm not a 2pac fan coz i don't listen to him that often but i respect him as an artist he has some very deep meaningful songs

but tbh because of the way most of his fans are i'd be embarrassed to be caught listening to 2pac because i'd immediately be put into that stereotype of some wannabe gangsta or something coz thats what most of the people who listen to him are like here

i like the beat for this one, and 2pac had a good flow too

i'd consider most of what Menace and EmSeeD posted to be classic 2pac songs but most of what everyone here has posted is far from classic imo. Pac has plenty of classic tracks. i definitely think he's easily the most overrated hip hop artist this side of Lil Wayne though. here are some undeniable classics:

and this one may not be a classic but it's been my personal favorite since i was like 14. 2pac on the Public Enemy tip:

my new theme song

what does a song need to be like/need to have to be labeled a classic?

good point, its definitly opinionated to a degree. i felt the tracks i posted were just a few of pacs great songs and still feel so.

the thread says great/classic songs, i wanted to try posting some stuff nobody really hears. not so much his singles. that song got my mind made up is definitely classic to me. some of pacs best lyrics, all star lineup especially at the time. and even a inspectah deck verse floating around.
