ummmm.... i'm white and have been into the real shit since before Wayne was relevant. i've always dislike Wayne, but my world doesn't revolve around hating him like so many supposed real heads do. it's funny you mention that though because most of my black friends actually listen to Wayne and bs like that while most of my friends that listen to that real shit are white or latin. but to me, it's irrelevant. there are people from all races/cultures that listen to real hip hop and the same goes for the techno/pop shit that everyone listens to on the radio. and i could go on about the fact that classification by craniofacial anthropometry (the way we classify race) has since been virtually debunked, but then i would completely divert this conversation that is so fruitful and pleasant and i wouldn't want to do that  anyways, there's no need to bring race/skin color into the picture here. yes, i am tired of my friends listening to music i think of as garbage, but i'm not trying to change their opinion, i'm just trying to listen to some real shit and spread the word about it.

the other day in my media class, i was discussing hiphop with a wigger kind of guy (he says nigga AND he calls the obnoxious, "SWAG" lil wayne dickriders the actual N word all the time... and claims that he has black family, so his use of the word is justified.) and he listens to horrible shit (tyga, minaj, drake, wayne, gucci, etc) and I was telling him about how Wiz is about to get knocked the fuck out of the spotlight by Odd Future...
I explained how OF was a crew of several members, and he goes, "Yeah, there's this one group.. they're from new york and their asian.. they're called Wong Tung Clan or something."
No shit, his exact words. I know you think i'm bullshitting. I'm not. His EXACT words. Wong Tung Clan.
And Method Man is Asian.

Then I showed him OF and he said they were disgusting and weird and that they weren't gonna blow up at all. So just fuck me in the ass with a rusty fork.... Fuck...
