Livin' Proof in the space of 3 years has gone from a small intimate basement venue in Soho to London's most respected and hottest hip-hop party. Spread largely through word-of-mouth, they have since rocked shows with Pharoahe Monche, Jay Electronica, Hudson Mohawke, Kelis, Raekwon and are the only hip-hop collective to have a regular slot on the seminal Boiler Room online streaming show.
The 4 man team are now doing a one-off event for this special Bank Holiday party. Flying all the way from NYC for the show is the LEGENDARY DJ and producer from A Tribe Called Quest - Ali Shaheed Muhammad. Not only being the cornerstone of the one of the most legendary hip-hop groups of all time, he has also worked with people such as The Ummah, Lucy Pearl, and The Native Tongues.
Room 2 is going to be manned by 2 fellow party crews Nonsense and Bounty that runs residencies at the legendary Plastic People and The Alibi respectively.
