i probably listen to more southern music than you do, especially southern hip hop. Young Jeezy, however, is one of the worst rappers i've ever heard. really, has this site come to accept all the artists we were once trying to off-set? when fags like Young Jeezy were all over the radio, we were bringing light to alternatives like Cunninlynguists and Jay Electronica. now rap turns techno and everyone wants to tout garbage artists like Young Jeezy as good rappers?? man, gtfoh with that garbage. you think this is good?:

i think blu can and has done a lot better though, i'm not buying that he was only good because of exiles beats because listen to the soul amazing mixtapes, a lot of those beats were produced by blu himself. maybe he goes through writers block

In Young Jeezy's defense, he doesnt make music for commercial appeal. If you would watch his interviews and listen to his songs, he says REPEATEDLY he wont sell-out and HASNT sold-out...

...But seeing as you openly admit to that ^^^^ I can understand how you wouldnt possibly understand. He's a real street dude. But because he's famous (and only because he's famous), it's "Un-underground" to speak of him in a positive manner when there's other unheard of artists that need our "sympathy." Yeah, this is RHHF after all. #SWAG
My President SUCKED btw. He has WAY better songs.
And on a side note, Erik has the musical taste of a 50 year old man.

no dumbass, i don't like him because 1. his lyrical range is very small, 2. his flow/delivery/voice annoy the fuck out of me, 3. his beat choice isn't very good imo, 4. he gets shitty people to feature on his songs, 5. idgaf how "hood" he is. that has never made anyone a better (or worse) rapper, etc.

Those are probably the reasons why I like him. I personally think he has a great ear for beats. And I like how his voice and flow fits with his beats. Its just a personal thing. Those are the reasons why I said he makes good music because of how everything ties together and bumps. Im not a fan of his early work, just his 2008 and recent stuff. He sucked before that.
