if you could only ask 10 questions or less.. to a few of your favorite artists, what would that be? just an idea... i was thinking maybe we starrt a seriies like that on the site but i would need help as i get so tired lately, finding artists that are interested or reply to emails that want interviews, introduce them to the 10 question serious..or whatever title we can think of..
so was thinking maybe a 10 question series or even 7 where we ask different artist that same 10 then feature it.
one question i dont want is, what do you think of the state of hip hop? lol i'm tired of people asking that same question. so if we had the chance..what are some questions you would want to ask any artists or your top all time fav?
me? they call everything hip hop these days so "real' hip hop is a term thats used "real" "keepin it real" used to differentiate between underground and corporate rap." real" are those that stick to the essence of hip hop, authentic, not really using auto tune ect.. that do it for the culture, to spread truth, real life issues..or some fun track but truly respect the art, that live hip hop " heart n soul" respect the history, take time to learn the true knowledge and understanding...not only greed, money, fame or the corporations who exploit the culture at the expense of the youth's state of mind and not for the love of self. . there is a misunderstand in the mainstream, real not necessarily meaning that the others are fake, they just do it for another reason..we need a way to differ in our communities so we use "real" just like underground news..there is "real news" meaning its not watered down in any way, its original, sticking to truth not always shown in the media..real hip hop reps more the culture and not just underground because not all underground hip hop is good or keep it real and not all mainstream hip-hop either. ..now some heads dont consider commercial rap, "hip hop" because they are artists who have "alienated" parts of the hip hop culture in their work.. they put down what we are trying to represent..now not all the emcees and rappers though..
yeah that's a good one, i remember when Atmosphere were doing a Q&A series in support of "When Life Gives You Lemons..." some fan asked that and they had funny answers. Ant said he was a janitor at some vet clinic and if Atmosphere didn't blow up he'd probably still be a janitor hahaha Rep the bay
