word i understand his influence and legacy but as an emcee i dunno i think hes a bit weak edit: i get you 8 but for me theres more soul in dillas beats, we had a good discusion about it a while back

nahh ive listened to his other stuff but like eboyd and illmatic the image in my head tainted it i get what you mean tho, i listened to erik b and rakim before i heard that song so it was an afterthought more then a prejudgement
