same with Big L i don't go by how many albums they put out i go by how much lyrical and artistic talent they had, Percee P is number two on my all time list. Biggies word play makes him better than 2pac, Big L taking mulit syllables to a whole new level and originality at that time makes him a legend. no one was rhyming like him at his time in 94

I'm late here. W/e. Mark, I disagree with a lot of people in that list. Royce, Elzhi, Raw Poetic, etc. are not better than Pac. Putting Percee P on that list is completely plausible though. Dude came out WAY before Pac, grinded WAY harder and worked his way up to that status and after decades of rocking mics (since 1979) and dropping singles since 1988, having many emcees hail you as one of the greatest emcees of all time, including Eminem who actually asked Perce if he could trade verses with him on camera in a bathroom stall lol! and also both members of Organized Konfusion, of whom one of their members I'd say is better than Pac (Monch), and in any hip hop circle that knows anything about hip hop, Perce is held on legendary status on the same level as Rakim. Anyways, here's a completely unbiased 10 that would easily trump Pac and I won't even mention Percee: 1. Rakim

Hit Em Up was actually a pretty decent diss track, just not one of the best ever and is mad overrated because it was 2pac after he signed to Death Row, which brings me to my next point; it wasn't actually his death that made him overrated. 2pac signing to Death Row made him overrated.
