Hi Tek has been slacking lately though No ID, Large Pro, LES, etc. are some of the most underrated of all time. No ID's beats on "Resurrection" fucking sucked imo though. and Marley Marl is so god damn hit and miss that it is pointless to listen to him except for certain songs. back in the day he was dropping somewhat consistent dope shit but he's wack as fuck now. don't believe me? check "Hip Hop Lives" as evidence of that.

The Symphony, there's nothing special about that beat and if someone of today made a beat like that people would say it was wack.

the Symphony beat is only okay, i do like the beat for My Melody though. but lets say if Premo or someone made that beat for an MC's album today i think most people would think "meh".

man, the "Symphony" beat is a classic imo. that's one of the greatest in hip hop. "My Melody" is sort of close to that. idk man. but the rest of his beats are sub par.
