I mean theres alot of Mosques around where i live, same street as churches.. i bet they dont have that in the us lol. biggrin the way i see it, it is not...and im not talking about extremists and actual quotes from the quran for eg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosheh_Martyrs even muslim communities can be violent....take a look at how they killed all the pigs in egypt when it was completely unessessary, when it just so happens like 90% of them are owned by Christians b/c muslims dont eat pork btw in egypt, every time they build a church, muslims usually build a mosque right beside it and make the tower much larger, ive seen it myself Added (05/Jul/09, 8:01 Pm) ---------------------------------------------

ThaScience, what sodr doesn't realize, because he's a fundy and he automatically believes Islam is inherently evil, is that just as the Mosaic laws of Christianity -- which preaches violence and hatred, like stoning prostitutes to death, beating slaves within an inch of their lives, etc. -- is no longer practiced in most Christian devout countries because of Ephesians 2:15, Islam's Sharia laws, which promote the same things as the Mosaic laws, are not supposed to be practiced because of a similar verse held within the Qu'ran. The difference is that most Islamic countries are corrupt third world countries that follow the Sharia laws even though IT SAYS IN THE QU'RAN not to. This means that the religion is just as inherently violent as Christianity (in other words, no longer violent at all) and it shouldn't be scrutinized for how violent it inherently is, but instead for how the people interpret it. ThaScience, I'm sure you could assist me in quoting where it says not to follow these laws.

eboyd, what you don't realize is that any insult to Islam is an offense against Christ. So no Christian should call Islam itself 'evil'. Christ even said to love our enemies. If there are people who suicide bomb others, then obviously that's evil. If people murder others, then obviously that's evil. Islam, if it's the religion of peace, should produce fruits, but I haven't seen any, only the evil things like I've mentioned. BTW, God made His commandments CLEAR, that if you sin, you WILL be punished. These people KNEW AHEAD OF TIME and committed these sins WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONSEQUENCES. Sin could not be in the presence of God's people. So now how is Christianity inherently violent? btw, are these verses evil?:

Quote (Menace) you misunderstood me in that thread Adam my man Quote (sodr2) even muslim communities can be violent....take a look at how they killed all the pigs in egypt when it was completely unessessary, when it just so happens like 90% of them are owned by Christians b/c muslims dont eat pork good point there actually. ThaScience, I'm sure you could assist me in quoting where it says not to follow these laws. ok, i heard yah.. but the point in which i made bold, is very untrue.. All my muslim friends are against sharia law, n the countries they r from are many, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Afhganistan, Bangledesh. Yes, London is the united nations lol. but the Only countries that have this law is Iran and Saudia Arabia.. and think whats going on in Iran right now im sure they want change.. and in S.A. it works cos look at Dubai there very open to the west as long as u dont act a fool which most english ppl do abroad anyway. but the law shouldnt be anyway, cos of the certain rules.. why do u think the pakistani army are bombing there own towns in the swat valley, they dont want these crazy taliban militants having this law there, of course theres the yanks screaming at them to get rid cos they got nukes, but politics aside, my pakistani friends hate this law along with all muslims.. just thought i made that Very clear kl. Smh... Sodr: Quote (eboyd) This means that the religion is just as inherently violent as Christianity (in other words, no longer violent at all) and it shouldn't be scrutinized for how violent it inherently is And btw, thanks for indirectly admitting you're a hypocrite : Quote (sodr) any insult to Islam is an offense against Christ. So no Christian should call Islam itself 'evil'. Quote (ThaScience) Islam as a peaceful religion as I see it Quote (sodr) the way i see it, it is not...and im not talking about extremists and actual quotes from the quran Now you may wonder how that makes you a hypocrite. Well, let's use your logic mixed with a little bit of actual sensible logic here; you say that, and I quote "[Islam] is not" peaceful, so if it isn't peaceful, what is it? Well, to some degree at the very least, it is violent, no? Ok. Now, what is violence in this day and age, especially if it is condoned by a religion other than Christianity? Is it not evil? So, you indirectly call Islam an inherently evil religion, but then you come back and say that it is against the nature of Christianity to call Islam evil. You, my friend, are being hypocritical.

Quote (ThaScience) if it's the religion of peace, should produce fruits, but I haven't seen any, only the evil things like I've mentioned. in 3rd world countries religion can't produce peace that's why Christians in Germany voted for Hitler and made him supreme leader knowing his ideas because they were in such a miserable condition they would praise anyone who gave them hope and bread and don't forget Christian Terrorism in America the KKK were are a Christian group that terrorized the US for several hundred years until the mid 1970's when Anti racist institutions and laws began so you wouldn't like your religion to be associated whit these people like Muslims don't want their religion to be associated whit those people and please don't start quoting from the Quran cause i think you already know that i know my holy books very well Quran or Bible so please don't start

ThaScience, yes, the people of these countries denounce Sharia law, but the militaries that the Western world propagandizes and fights against and uses as a stereotype for all of Islam and also many (not all) of the leaders of said countries follow Sharia law.
