More than 20 years After Roe vs. Wade: less than 700 abortions

The second article states that abortion stats are pretty constant whether legal or illegal. The problem is that just before Roe vs. Wade they cracked down on illegal abortions making the tactics by which fetuses were aborted illegal more rudimentary, so out of those 900 that had abortions, about 450 died or were seriously injured from complications of their abortions.

No, it's because when the woman is seriously injured THE BABY STILL DIES!!!!!! what I'm saying is that approximately 50% of the women who had abortions before legalization DIED OR WERE SERIOUSLY INJURED! This is a true fact and the same is not true now that it is legal. It's common sense man! And it's A PROVEN FACT! Abortion procedures are MUCH more sophisticated now that they are legal because they can figure out how to do it safely through science. It's like the safe sex argument. How are you more likely to prevent teen pregnancy, by condemning teen sex or educating the youth and making contraception easy to obtain?

Oh God.......

......... Dude, how many teens are REALLY not going to have sex just because we "educated them not to?" It's ignorant to assume that all teens will stop having sex because we educate them, so with the small amount that still will, why not make it easy for them to get a hold of contraception? That way we completely minimize teen pregnancy.

I never said all teens will stop.

If we make contraception hard....then they'll resist the temptation not to make sweet love.

Lol! Plenty! You know how many times when I was a teen I heard "man, fuck condoms! Raw dog feels SOOOO much better!!!!" We're talking 15 YEAR OLDS here too man. Don't give me that. Now when someone is using abortion in place of birth control, that is WRONG! They don't deserve to have an abortion. Either BE MORE RESPONSIBLE or TAKE RESPONSIBILITY with you new baby! Having one abortion is cool, but, 3? 4? 5? They deserve to get a big fuck

i agree with you here. i'm a radical when it comes to law though. i feel that we need to go to more extensive lengths to treat criminals rather than say "fuck you!" throw the book at them, then make it IMPOSSIBLE for the person to get a job because all we are doing is breeding repeat offenders. sure, you have places that are in business SPECIFICALLY to employ/house criminals who can't get a job elsewhere, but that doesn't make it easy for someone to work still. those are jobs that pay little to nothing and they don't exist everywhere and are mainly for ex-gang members. they don't focus on sex offenders, domestic abusers, etc. i feel that death penalties should be held to life imprisonment in which instead of it being a life sentence it is a treatment in which you are there for life unless you can prove to doctors who can in turn prove to the government that you are "cured" and ready to function as a normal society member.
