Noam Chomsky calls himself a traditional conservative and calls anarchism or more broadly libertarian socialism the "proper and natural extension of classical liberalism into the era of advanced industrial society." Which is true because anarchism is a blend of classical liberalism and socialism. My point is that labels are just labels, this video in itself is idiotic because it shows just a few seconds not his whole argument. Its simple to label one a "liberal" without knowing what's actually LIBERALISM or "conservative" without knowing what's what historically and ideologically . Its idiotic because for example LIBERALISM in Europe means free trade,limited government, deregulation etc. exactly the things the US conservatives stand for, because that's LIBERALISM in REALITY. Social democracy means a mixed economy, fair trade, progressive taxation etc. not LIBERALISM . Americans again show they love to label themselves without knowing what's what :D.

Liberalism even on wikipedia is the same as conservatism in terms of economics, the only difference is social and that's it. Saying fiscal conservatism is different from liberalism from an economic standpoint is an oxymoron, they are the same economically and that's it.

i understand, but this guy is stuck in the left/right paradigm. and liberalism is more about equal rights, while fiscal conservatism is more about government spending and the debt. right? hes like the male ann coulter. lol ever see her before? lol thats too extreme. i'll admit im pretty confused about politics, but i know ann coulter is always wrong. w can all agree on that.

I don't know her, I hardly follow up on politics in my own country. But what she says about radiation isn't that bad, she only puts it out there in an irresponsible way, like the host pointed out. She's saying that it isn't as black and white as the media says it is, but she makes it sound like all nuclear radiation is healthy. The title of the video implies that it's a "is or isn't" thing, but controlled ionizing radiation of some sorts can cure some diseases. Generally you don't want live too close to large amounts of radioactive substances, since that'll fuck you up.
It can be compared to poison. If the video title said "this crazy lady says poison is good for you" it'd automatically make the viewer biased, but what she's actually saying is that it can cure cancer when controlled. Only she's being all stupid about it, engaging people to swim in poison when they spot it.

Holy shit dude. If he disagrees with what a sitcom episode was about, he's lying. I think that she's very bad at expressing herself, or she just misunderstood what whoever is advising her told her to say. She was nearing a valid point with what she was heading for when she talked about christians being "perfected jews", she just said it in an extremely offensive way. Christians are better than jews though, in christian perspective, since they know all the things the jews know, but they learned something more, and that made it easier for them to live, because they have an easier way of gaining salvation, so they're basically functioning better. You can't expect a religion to say that it doesn't matter what you believe. Is it offensive to believe that all atheists will suffer a terrible fate? I hate when people take offense to that.
