well I don't make up my mind until i hear the response to the issue if i don't agree with how the person plans to handle the issue i don't vote for him like last time i voted for bush because me being a christian i didn't like the way karrie planned to handle some of the issues, it's not about the party but how i beleve the issue should be handled I think it's foolish to make up your mind before you hear the issue at hand like some people automatically go with democrat regardless of how the issue would be handled, i have to hear the response to the issue first and if it lines up with my beliefs

For the preaching of the cross is to them that
perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God

well that is true, but the question was what is your political affiliation, not which candidate do you agree with. i personally feel like this: there are times when some ideals are better than others. looking at it from an economic standpoint a more liberal handling of money is what we need now, whereas conservative ideals are better in say a time of stagflation like we had in the 70's. to put it simply, in time of recession, liberal ideals are more practical, but in time of prosperity, conservative ideals are superior. that is just one example of how my political views go. all in all though, if i had to label myself, which i hate doing, i would be an anarchist. i don't have a subgroup for myself because i don't know what the different subgroups believe, but i do not feel that i will pick one either because i detest the idea of labeling alone. the idea of sub-labels is attrocious to me.

I disagree, thats what FDR did and he ended up prolonging the great depression by 7 years.

Dude, the great depression was going to go on for 7 years or longer regardless. It was conservatives who got us into the mess we were in regardless. Ever heard of president Harding? He's considered the worst president in U.S. History. His administration is responsible for allowing our economy to go to shit in the first place AND HE WAS CONSERVATIVE! It was the Keynsian ideals that FDR picked up that got us out of the Great Depression. Were there better ways to handle it? Sure. The president elected is never the best possible person for the job so naturally he is never going to do what is best. However, are liberal ideals the best we can possibly have now? Absolutely. Everyone knows Ron Paul was never going to come close to being elected and he was better than any other candidate. And you know damn well we aren't about to pick up some form of anarchy. That would also take forever to transition into anyways and so we would continue our depression. No matter what though, we're stuck with this depression for at least another 4 years, guaranteed. At least Obama's ideals in this situation seem more idealistic. Of course, as I said, if this were the 70's or a similar situation I would be for McCain 100%.

co-sign whit Erik but our opinions and our votes don't matter so we can talk all day they will elect what is good for them and they will back up what is good for the ruling minority and as i said this crisis is a effect of capitalism it was forth told 200 years ago how the capitalist economic system will transform they say recession and even if it is a recession frequent recessions are bad for any country it was a recession in the 80's too you guys need to research on it it seems these recessions are becoming to often and the capitalist alternative is becoming more and more tighter regardless of what president we elect things will get more badder a time things will go smooth and another hole will come and that will go forever allowing power monopolization and never closing at least a little bit the gap between the social classes this is the nature of capitalism cause capitalism is built on wage exploitation and workers never earn enough to buy back what they produced that creating these crisis and holes

Apathetic!... Hard to really give a fuck- ALL political groups have their own evil agenda...I got my own shit to worry about and whether we think it or not, WE have NO say anymore what goes on in the world... freedom of speech is no longer, So basically over the next few decades Anarchy may be an only option for those who refuse to be slaves to the powers that be... Revelations are upon us! Strap up!!!...............
