Dude, the great depression was going to go on for 7 years or longer regardless. It was conservatives who got us into the mess we were in regardless. Ever heard of president Harding? He's considered the worst president in U.S. History. His administration is responsible for allowing our economy to go to shit in the first place AND HE WAS CONSERVATIVE! It was the Keynsian ideals that FDR picked up that got us out of the Great Depression. Were there better ways to handle it? Sure. The president elected is never the best possible person for the job so naturally he is never going to do what is best. However, are liberal ideals the best we can possibly have now? Absolutely. Everyone knows Ron Paul was never going to come close to being elected and he was better than any other candidate. And you know damn well we aren't about to pick up some form of anarchy. That would also take forever to transition into anyways and so we would continue our depression. No matter what though, we're stuck with this depression for at least another 4 years, guaranteed. At least Obama's ideals in this situation seem more idealistic. Of course, as I said, if this were the 70's or a similar situation I would be for McCain 100%.

Whoa, nevr realized u made this reply

I'm too lazy to argue this but here's a site that explains my point:

My point explained

livin life like some cheesy movie

FDR's New Deal is the cause of all this in fact the New Deal lulled Americans into the state of idiocy that allowed a maniac like George Bush to become President

Well, Conservatives basically want to regulate everything whereas Liberalism is potrayed as being the opposite but fuck, they're just a bunch of posers when they that. So they're pretty much all the same, AKA: Evil.

Conservatives want to regulate social life not economical life Liberals want to regulate or as people call it use protectionism in economical life and not social life that's the whole difference between them

i seriously don't know the difference between all these political parties i just live my life

yeah but your health care sucks monkey dicks

yeah and that's because Canada was on Liberal and social democratic hands now days Canada is on conservative hands and beware these dudes could sell your health care system to private investors this is a prime example why you should vote if there is a strong emphasis on health care for example people could call me a hypocrite but i support labor and health care reform

so which is better libs of cons?

both are bad because they complete each other and allow no political progress but when it comes to health care and social issues liberals are more progressive then the cons so yeah liberals are more often called the lesser evil or the good guys tough in the US in particular i never saw a real progressive politician rather then Ralph Nader

Well, I detest labels, specifically in politics, but if I align myself with anything it's anarchy. I haven't chosen a subgroup because that's when you get into all the bullshit politics of it. I guarantee the second anarchy takes over a gov't there will be a struggle between subgroups and very little will get done.

My main belief is that institutionalization breeds the evil that is hierarchy and hierarchy breeds power which breeds corruption, so my main issue is that we need to de-institutionalize everything.

Quote (Menace)
there is no such thing as a anarcho-syndicalist whit liberal tendencies Liberals are centrists and economic wise they derive from how we anarcho-syndicalists want a economic system to be we have nothing in common politically speaking whit Liberals socially speaking we have some ties whit them but we have ties whit Libertarian Con's but of course on social basis not on political one so bada bing bada boom and for myself i'm an old school anarcho-syndicalist straight from the belly of the CNT-FAI biggrin

words i dont understand just from the first two replies:

politics, anarchy, institutionalization, anarcho-syndicalist, economic system, liberal, centrists, CNT-FAI
