He's considered the worst president in U.S. History. His administration is responsible for allowing our economy to go to shit in the first place AND HE WAS CONSERVATIVE! It was the Keynsian ideals that FDR picked up that got us out of the Great Depression. Were there better ways to handle it? Sure. The president elected is never the best possible person for the job so naturally he is never going to do what is best. However, are liberal ideals the best we can possibly have now? Absolutely. Everyone knows Ron Paul was never going to come close to being elected and he was better than any other candidate. And you know damn well we aren't about to pick up some form of anarchy. That would also take forever to transition into anyways and so we would continue our depression. No matter what though, we're stuck with this depression for at least another 4 years, guaranteed. At least Obama's ideals in this situation seem more idealistic. Of course, as I said, if this were the 70's or a similar situation I would be for McCain 100%.
