The number 1 million is, just like the number 6 million, an estimation, but it is a much more logical and fact based number. I'm sure Menace can guide you in the direction of plenty of books that will confirm this. Also, my family members, many of which were around at the time, living in areas where there were concentration camps, were the people who have done the research and found this info. The number 6 million, just like the number 1 million that I threw out there, has little factual basis and is actually less logical. It has never been, and for UN purposes, never will be researched. Yes, what happened in Nazi Germany was an attrocity, quite possibly the worst in the history of man kind, but that doesn't warrant us not researching and finding the actual number.

Oh, and 900, what books were you taught from? Were these high school or college text books? I learned this in a college text book last semester. I'll look up some actual passages from the book and post them here when I get a shot. The good thing about this text book is it takes a neutral stance on everything and shows info from a more objective stance than any text I've read. Everything is discussed factually and they see this particular conflict not by who is wrong or right but the right and wrong things done by each side.

i have some info about that and (not jewes in general,i don't have anything against them) but i do have something against those israel fuckers!!! they are so aggressive nation,i mean,the have been atacking everybody in that area forever! palestina and israel consider that area as they're holly land and it is like that. and the only person who menaged to keep the peace there without firing a single bullet is jaser arafat! and now,when he's gone,those israel's are bombing the shit out of palestina! and because of the European Union,europe can't do shit! the are completely oriented on diplomatic solutions but israel will not listen to that!
