share your thougths here. keep the discussion friendly  i tend to agree with Isreal because what country would tollerate 80-90 missiles per day? imo hamas has gone too far now and i agree with Isreal. what about you ?

i wouldnt like that, but they arent leaving isreal much choice with all their attacks and stuff. and it seems that they failed handling it the diplomatic way. besides, isnt hamas a terrorist like organization? not that i disagree with the palastinian ppl, but its hamas thats doing this stuff aint i right

When you hear people agree with Israel on the news that is always NATO/US propoganda. The Zionists are the ones who said they want to wipe Palestine off the map and they are the ISRAELI extremists. It's not that Israel is a terrorist state, but the majority of the true terrorists in this conflict are Israeli. The only reason when this conflict started, back in 1948, the Americans sided with Israel was because we had a corrupt gov't lead by a bastard president named Harry Truman who wanted natural resources and knew Israel was stronger than Palestine and would easily crush them. So the Palestinians, as predicted, were easily driven from their land and the conflict continued. Why do you think as soon as Truman left office and Eisenhower, one of our greatest presidents (and an exception to the rule that generals make bad presidents) decided to claim neutrality in the conflict? Of course as soon as he left office the next administration went right back to the Truman ideals (and even the tried-and-failed Truman Doctrine I believe. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I forgot this info. I recently studied it but you only retain so much at once).

you are making a good point eboyd, hamas is expressing its hate against isreal pretty clearly (suicide bombings etc) so perhaps its not really obvious what isreals role in this all is.. anyway it seems that hamas is mainly targeting isreali cities and towns with their missiles and thus targeting civilians. ive read and seen that isreal is mainly trying to take out hamas / rumored hamas members and not only killing inocent people by randomly firing missiles, or am i all wrong? Yes all started after WW2 when the Cold War started the Soviet Union and the USA went on a proxy war or how many call them colonial wars Israel is just a imperial post of the USA thats how it started in those times the middle east was under a prominent shadow of the Soviet Union so the US started a series of missions to capitalize on the middle east the mission goes now days too (Iraq) so Israel was one of the first outposts of the USA in the middle east its all politics
