Adam, it is music that sticks to or at least honors the hip hop tradition. this doesn't mean that it remains boxed into a category, but if it tries to push the envelop it does so without perpetuating the stereotypes that have been built up for mainstream rap over the years. stereotypes that are often linked to the same stereotypes that black people have lived with for hundreds of years. the main stereotype that is perpetuated, that permeates through all of the stereotypes that can be placed on mainstream hip hop, is ignorance. Lil B is the epitome of an ignorant rapper perpetuating old black stereotypes.
