After opening the icon, click on the "Create and Edit" tab in the middle at the top. Then click on the "Edit and Record Sound Files" with the music note icon. It will pop up with the recording quality options. Select the quality you want and then click OK. The recording consule will pop up and simply hit the record button to begin recording. Don't click OK until you are ready to save the audio.

To do that you have to open the "Compose and Scratch Audio Tracks" icon next to the "Edit and Record Sound Files". Then you locate the audio files and drop them onto the sound board.

now i have the sound board so seemingly recorded my rap over a instumental,the rap i recorded is after the instrumental for some reason
....
