Lol! There's no sampling! I do all the sounds myself on a Korg keyboard. The upright bass, the flamenco guitar, the drum kit, the piano, etc, are all sounds programmed into Logic. smile

his not what im into but his dope...lol the first time i read

Lol! Yeah, a Korg keyboard is a type of arranged keyboard where you load instruments from a computer program and play them. John Cage invented the arranged keyboard and it got perfected in the Korg. Oh, and you will like at least one track by Vigalantee. I hooked him up with a track with Beretta 9 (AKA Kinetic 9) and the Wildcore that is going to be on the "Stop The Violence" album. As for the track, the only thing even close to sampled is the fact that while I was driving to the studio to make it a jazz tune came on the radio (I listen to a jazz station every day) and this track came on with a bass riff that was stellar (imo) and so I took that same riff but made the third and fourth notes one note lower and sped it up to 100 BPMs. That was the first instrument I laid down and it is the backbone of the beat. I still played it myself though.

Hey erik i wanna know when u make beats do u
sit in a dark room with no light what so ever
pressing your keyboard like the phantom of the opera
Then when your all good n done you come back to reality
and realize that what im saying has nothing to do with this
beat you made. however if u keep reading
on you will notice that like your beat the "loop" right now
will change, the beat was dope didnt really like the revolver sound
tho but other then that DOPE!

is that good or bad? and really? i think if anything it is perfect for a track where the lyrics are on some sneaky/devilish shit, but more so talking from a story perspective sort of like Vigalantee's track "Psychodelic Madness." ask him to show that track to you. it's fucking wicked and sneaky like this and dope.

you're not the only one who has told me that. my man Mnemonic (the guy who produces for me) says i should do film scores, my "Doomed Seed" beat got a lot of people telling me "man, this would be great for a film score!" etc. i get that A LOT, believe me. the claim isn't that outlandish. i would LOVE to do a film score, even though i know by experience that even with a simple 3 minute video film scores are a bitch! i still want to do it though. thanks btw (assuming that was a compliment though the statement made was intrinsically neutral).
