I'm hoping to complete an instrumental album but the end of january. It's suppose to be a concept album that is about the perspective of an ex that got her heart broken by me. Anyways, here's one of the tracks:

Thank u for the positive words  I purposely decided to not include a intro. You'll see... it'll sound good in the album ;). This was a really fun beat to make. It's the first beat I made using just the mpc 1000 that I think sounds pretty good lol. So far I'm pretty excited about the beats I'm making for this. I'm going to really try hard to finish it up by the date I set. This is also the first project I'm starting where I actually have a set due date. I'm excited because I think it will force me to get work completed and will allow me think more creatively rather than slacking and not finishing beats. Usually I had been lazy and left songs incomplete (I have hundreds of beats that I never finished) lol.

There was a time when I was really into nujabes, and now that I think about it I might of used the same techniques as nujabes. For the beggining part I chopped up seperate piano chords played in the beginning of the song and played them the way I wanted over the chopped main sample.

Hopefully by the end of this month. It kinda sucks, right after I planned this I ended up getting work, hahaha. But yeah, I've been savin up money and tryin to go to the record shops to find good samples. It sucks that the only good record shop I know is like 20 minutes away from me. but my mom and I are running tight on money so we're gonna be moving in the city. Hopefully we can live in the same area where the record shop is lol.
