i never was into the Beatles tough i am a HUGE fan of psychedelic rock ( yeah i know they weren't psychedelic rock but they were the forefathers to the 60's psychedelic age )

Yeah I usually listen to either hip-hop or a strict diet of
-Sum 41
-Blink182
-Old green day mostly (Dookie, Smoothed out slappy)
-Nirvana
-The Offspring
but I still respect and like oldies with the utmost respect. Anyone who disses the beatles, well, flat out know NOTHING about music.

I dont give a fuck what people say.
The idea of a "fake" band/artist and a "real" one are all about your idea of what is real to you and what is real to me.
for example: Someone might honestly really actually connect with lil wayne on some level. Even though I think his music is mostly shit, I respect their admiration for his music. If they want to waste their money buying a CD and a shirt, let them do it. I am not going to freak out about it.
So why do people stress me about liking the music I like? Im not harming anyone by liking them, and whats realy to you might be fake to me, and vice versa. Personally, I like shit they write about. I connect. And you might not connect. I dont have a problem with that. Just leave me alone about it, and its all good.

I never disrespected anyone. I just said I like Sum 41 and Blink.
Im perfectly fine with Jefferson Starship. Pink Floyd. All of that.
I might not listen to it, but I dont have a problem with it. Im sure they both have had a positive influence on music. And sure, I am a Tupac dickrider. That doesent make me think hes the only good rapper ever.

Yeah and "Brainstew" is about delirum and lack of sleep and just going insane.
So yeah I dont know what attracts me to that exactly. Its just I feel like I can relate to some of their shit sometimes.
Take this for example

That song is "Handle This" by Sum 41. It makes me think of my best freind rodrigo and how starting at the beginging of 8th grade all the way up to now, we have made different freinds, got different tastes, etc. We are still freinds, but that brother like thing isnt there as much.
Or "reckless abandon" by Blink 182. Im not going to post all the lyrics, but this song makes me think of my freind who used to be pretty close but he started getting really into drugs and alcahol, and now he has a sack of coke hes been sitting on for a couple of weeks and is thinking of doing it. Not only that, but he is still just as heavy into weed, pills, and alcahol as he was weeks before that.
"Longview" by Green Day. Explains a typical boring day. 
"She" by Green Day. Makes me think of all the girls who are aching to be different, yet act how their parents want them to act because they dont want to be rejected. Also makes me think of all my freinds who went "scene" on me. BLEH!
The list goes on. But then again, I dont know what attracts people to the lyrics of Miley Cyrus, so I guess I see where your coming from.

its up to you if you wanna like them or not im just saying Although the music and lyrics may not be of a challenging caliber, the listeners can still identify with groups like these... They put a lot of effort and energy into their shows. Something a lot of well talented and smug performers fail to do imo.. cough doom ahem...

etc etc put way more effort n energy then the beatles, sum41, blink182 n greenday into there shows
hell ray charles puts more effort into his shows then blink182 does but still ray is dopematical.
