Post all your equipment you use to record with, or all your instruments. It doesn't matter if it's something mainly used for hiphop, or rock, or whatever. Any musical shit is accepted.
I'll post mine in a bit.

I did buy a Marshall amp

They make some kickass amps.

I was raised around musicians. My parents MET in a band, dammit! Of course they are seperated now, but when they were together, they still played. So when they split, I inherited alot of equipment.

-A 2000 model Gibson Les Paul. Genuine Gibson too. No knock off.
-Some Vox amp. I don't know the model.
-A fender acoustic. Again, don't know the model.
-A no-brand bass amp.
-A Tama drum set. Torn up and covered in stickers, but it's cool.
-An old washburn bass. Black, I don't know the model, and it's a 4 string.
- Some REALLY old mixer... Pre-1970... really old. But it works.

tw, what drum heads do you use?

Damn... I haven't even fucked with that set in so long that I'm not even sure... I might go look tomarrow when it's not freezing balls out in the garage.

Oh, and I have a Sonor drum set myself

Nice. I haven't ever actually fucked with Sonar's but my friend has a nice Sonar set and it's nice.

Our drummer in my band uses this HUGE ass Pearl set with like 10000 symbols lol. He has any brand cymbal you can think of on his set, Zildjan, Saibian, Paiste...

Before the weekend ends I'ma buy Audix microphone...those things are ILL!!!!

I never have been big on any one brand.
I'm not technical on any insturment stuff at all.
I'm just like "Give me a fucking guitar".
Like In my band, I play bass. But our guitar player is an ASS about his shit. He'll be like "Yeah I'm getting this one guitar with like 0.31 nickle gauges and like 0.4 action and man it's like 43.2 inches on the gerth of the neck and" I don't even know what any of that is. I don't care. I just need a guitar.
Another thing that bothers me is when people can't play by ear. I can't read music at all, and don't know my chord names. All I can do is tune a guitar. I can do it by ear though. But I can't read music and I don't know my notes. And it pisses me off when people say I'm not a true musician because of that.

LOL I never could figure out how people play by ear to be real with you it seems superhuman

I never understood how people could memorize the seemingly never-ending list of notes and chords.
I know basic scales and shit but like "G-Augmented-5th-minor" and shit like that just confuses me..

LOL I learned Tab at 8 (no joke).
Although any music teacher I talked to was always like "Yeah tab is like cheating on a test" so I just gave up on "real" musical theory.
I do know really basic chords like
A
G
B
D
D minor.
F
Thats all lol.
