What They Don't Teach You In Film School
We all know that each of our end is near; the question is do we accept the end of our living existence, or do we accept our existence as dead men...

Quote (Em_SeeD) Can't Stop Won't Stop: The History of the Hip Hop Generation i hear KRS had some beef with the dude who wrote that. i have two hip hop books i keep neglecting to read. one is by Cheryl Keyes of UCLA and the other by this guy, idk his name. both great books and i hear they are a continuation of each other, coincidentally, not on purpose.

Its possible part of the reason krs has beef with the guy is coz the guy doesn't mention krs-one in the book very much, he talks a lot about chuck d and public enemy though, i have a new respect for chuck D now,

i've also noticed krs seems to talk of hip hop as a gospel whereas this guy talks of the hip hop history more like the old testament.

i haven't read it but i hear KRS is like not even mentioned or that he's only mentioned barely and only in reference to insignificant things and that's like leaving one of the disciples out of the bible.

Quote (t_nizzle53) How could they bare to do such things??? 90% of them feared the other 10% who were the gruesome ones. i know. my grandparents' friends were Germans in Germany in the 1940's and were forced to become NAZI's. they escaped i think.
