can i give you an advice ? it's not the best work of Karl Marx in fact it is one of the worst because this authoritarian work of his overshadowed everything he previously did mostly because of this work and some other minor works Marx is considered the creator of modern totalitarianism if you want to read Karl Marx and for a better understanding of our society and economic life in general read Capital by Karl Marx tough it spawns 3 large volumes if you finish reading it you will have a totally new perspective on everything.

yeah i feel you and the Communist Manifesto is only 80 pages long it's not such a deep book in fact originally it was a pamphlet made by Marx and his Party to agitate the workers and to make them rebel it was not meant to be a piece of great literature

oh no it's a short but compelling book the ideas in that book came to be what we consider today as anarchism oh and after you finish it and want to continue on Bakunin check Statism and Anarchy a very good book oh and if you want to go back on anarchist economics you should read another landmark book by Kropotkin called "Fields, Factories and Workshops"
