yeah but if you check what he wrote when he was actually trying hard he used punchlines

was that against me? it's been so long lol! i ask because he told me in PM that he wasn't trying his hardest until he got to me. that's what he was doing. almost everybody else was wack back then lol! so he just saved all his good material for me. haha! i seriously remember him only occasionally using punches against me though. it wasn't like he was trying to throw punches or anything, he just did here and there, sort of like how i do. i think me and him are kind of similar, except i'm more of a concept guy than he is.

nah it was against me, yeah at the time i didn't realize how wack me and most of the others were back then, actually even when i look back at my more recent ones i think uhh that doesn't seem as good now as it did back then.

back then no-one else was using punchlines like that, until pnoble came along, then i started to really get the hang of punchlines and now we've got a few good punchline battlers, but i know most sites judge battles by punchlines.

i'm starting to get tired of the abundance of punchlines used in all the battles now. certain cats that mustn't be named, though i respect them and notice they've mastered the craft of punchlines, sound so damn formulaic that now even if a verse is dope i can't read it the whole way through because it feels like a pre-fab verse to me just because of the way it's exactly the same as any other verse by them.
