If you could turn back the hands of time would you use this power or allow history to take its course? you would be able to save someone from dieing, reverse a terrible event, or use it to your benefit. If so what would you change? I personally would not change a thing. I may feel different if circumstances were harsher for me but im very content with my life as of now. Sorry for the weird threads but shits been dead past couple of days, trying to get something going.

if i could go back there's a lot of decisions i'd change about my own life, there's a lot of things i didn't do that i should have done, things i did that i shouldn't have done, things i didn't say that i should have said and things i said that i shouldn't have said, i often think about that stuff wishing i could change it, i know its not that healthy though

Quote (abanks47) Sorry for the weird threads but shits been dead past couple of days, trying to get something goin Dude, no problem. I agree. Anything helps. And if I could change things... Damn.... I might go back and change these things -No 9/11 -No slavery -No discovery of Nuclear weapons -No electricity -No internet Not all at once, but if I could just change it for a while and see what it was like, then go back and re-change it, I would do that. In my own life, there are several things I would change.

Quote (ilikebacon3000) -No discovery of Nuclear weapons agreed, although when i think of shit like this i always wonder if something even deadlier would arise. for example, who wouldnt want to kill hitler right? but when i think of this question i always think that some other dictator would take his place or one of the people he killed may very well rid eup and be just as bad if not worse. i mean no disrespect to those who lost there lives im just saying. Quote (ilikebacon3000) -No electricity -No internet dude you trippin off thes one lol if no major fuck ups would arise i would never get veneers (dental procedure, they grind your tooth down and cap that shit), i would fuck many more females in high school and spit at way more females. i waited til last year to really start spittin at females. there is some good that came of that but i feel like i wasted a lot of my life for having done so

Quote (ilikebacon3000) -No discovery of Nuclear weapons -No electricity -No internet i will quote Proudhon from his work What Is Property?: "To name a thing is easy: the difficulty is to discern it before its appearance. In giving expression to the last stage of an idea,—an idea which permeates all minds, which to-morrow will be proclaimed by another if I fail to announce it to-day,—I can claim no merit save that of priority of utterance. Do we eulogize the man who first perceives the dawn?" electricity, internet, nukes, etc. are all examples of things that "[permeate] all minds, which to-morrow will be proclaimed by another if [one] fail[s] to announce it to-day". in other words, these are things that would come about, although maybe in a slightly different way, regardless of who first came up with the idea. you cannot get rid of these inventions because all you are doing by getting rid of them is prolonging the time period by which the invention will come about. that was basically the main point of the Terminator movie series lol.

I'd probably prevent Emma Watson's parents from having sex until AFTER 1991.

Hmm i would probably do 2 things, and i will explain why in small details. 1) Not come to America. Im European, and i came to America in 2002. In my country, which is a bit poor, we think that coming to America, you will get rich and have a good life. Not only my country thinks this, a lot of poor countries believe in this. As i lived in NYC since 2002, i seemed to change a lot. I think life couldnt get any harder then living in America. Sometimes i wish i lived in my country, even though being a little poor and lights turning off at 8pm, i think life was a bit easier then here. All i think about living in America is making money, and not give a fuck about family or anything, though i came to realize money doesnt make you happy. 2) Tell my grandmother i loved her before she died. (plain and simple) I never realized how much she took care of me and cared about me until she died.

what about the assasination of Abraham Lincoln? Quote (HipHopHead) 1) Not come to America. Im European, and i came to America in 2002. All i think about living in America is making money, and not give a fuck about family or anything, though i came to realize money doesnt make you happy. that's something i always wonder about, coz a lot of people come here from other countries, esp from the islands just to end up living in the poorer parts of the country, and i've always wondered why the hell would they come here when they were living in the islands before, sure they might be a bit poor but i'd prefer the islands than some ghetto suburb in south or west auckland. i think maybe they also just came here so their kids would have more opportunities.
