this fight does prove something
a while ago i said mma could beat boxing ANY day and i think it was proven
i said exactly would what happen, the mma fighter would easily take the boxer down and beat the fuck out of him
clearly the boxer would win in boxing but even in a stand up fight the boxer would be fucked
id love to see how a boxer would defend a kick to the head or a knee to the face
fact of the matter is that if a mma fighter got into a fight without boxing or mma rules, the mma fighter would win 9 times out of 10

 I'm tired of people claiming that MMA is the best and comparing it to chinese Shaolin or Wudang martial arts or korean Taekwondo. I was training taekwondo for some time and I know folks who trained MMA just to kick innocent people's (mostly) faces on the street and steal their mobile phones. MMA is primitive because it seems like MMA fighers forgot about the most important martial arts rule - NEVER STRIKE FIRST, ONLY IN DEFENCE. Just combine one tornado kick and then spinnin' hook kick and you'll knock out any MMA fighter. I'd even say Krav Maga > MMA, cos at least Krav Maga fighters use their skills to protect their own asses (I know it's not 100% true but at least that's the main idea of KM)
