mma is way more useful if you want to beat somebody up in the streets. boxing is meant to stay in the ring with the rules it has. my father and grandfather were both boxers so its only natural i like boxing more but i know mma can fuck a boxer up lol

dont get me wrong tho im not hating on boxing, i still do boxing but a while ago i was argueing with some guys who were saying mma was for pussies and that boxing was way better then but last night i think couture proved to the world when he beat the fuck out of toney

James Toney is 42 years old, short and fat. the only reason he's in MMA is because he would get his ass kicked by any half decent boxer. so beating him doesn't prove anything. James Toney was good back in the 90's but come on man. and its not like he was an MMA expert either i already said when ages ago that Toney was going to lose this fight

toney got served and so will any other boxer if they try step into mma
any fighter will taske down the boxer and beat some fucking sense into him

of course mma can beat a boxers ass when their with mma rules or no rules. but put them both in a boxing ring with those rules the boxer will fuck him up. they are both completely different styles so putting the 2 together is just a joke in my eyes.

a boxer can beat a UFC fighter in a boxing match and vice versa, a boxer might have some success but very little Kimbo slice is an example...he shoulda been a boxer, and yes he won some fights but come on now we all no he didnt belong...and i like Rampage jackson but i think he don't have enough discipline to last against a Klitschko or a David Haye type foot ball players dont belong in da NBA

maybe it's just where i am. either way, due to the way I have been brought up around mma, it's kinda fucked up my ability to like it. yeah its true, skinheads in america actually train their recruits in MMA style Couture was a world champion, James Toney is completely new to the sport this was his first ever MMA fight, a former champion beating another guy in his 40's who is new to the sport doesn't prove a thing. Couture has been doing MMA for over 10 years, James Toney has been doing MMA since 4 MONTHS AGO. thinking this proves anything is ridiculous

Oh well I knew all about Toney being a boxer and shit... I was sick of sitting around doing nothing, so I turn on Spike TV and BAM there's MMA weigh-in shit on. Turns out it was for Toney vs Couture.
I was pulling for Toney, but I knew there was no way he would win. As much as I hate to admit it, MMA is so much more in depth than boxing. Boxing is very one dimensional and primitive in comparison to MMA. MMA is tough shit. I hate the sport, just cause I think it's dumb as fuck and boring to watch, and repetitive, but I will admit that it takes crazy balls, dedication, strength, and heart.
Life's a bitch and I'm just along for the ride.
