a lot of it is chopping the record up (not literally) but taking bits and pieces. Recording the part you want to use, speeding it up, slowing it down, mixing it in, etc. btw, you know my sample?

Check out one of the producers on our site (AyDee) He shows us his recording of a beat. He could help you better with this kind of info
