Alot of the legal shit has to be submitted to Organizations that officialize recognition. For example, we would have to trademark the label logo. Applications for trademark registration must be submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Some steps will require fees, some won't. Copyrights are pretty much free. The way to get our new site running is like I said, we have to get more people on here to expand our resources. That's why it is step 1. Who knows, we might get a guy on here who's crafty with Dreamweaver, or a guy who knows a guy. Who knows the situation.
Trigger is dope. Personally I think psyntific is dope as fuck. Beings they are the only ones who have accumulated any work they should be the focus when that step is reached. We should feature them on this site (or the official site) on the front page. As long as they are properly advertised and promoted they will go far (especially Psyntific). I mean look at soulja boy. He built his reputataion through an internet base. So it's definitely possible. If we can get albums made, then we can distribute them easy. Slap our logo on them and call it our record label. That's fine and that's legit. But we won't be recognized legally untill paperwork is official. Much of it is done through legal applications and simple self declaration on paper. The only reason record labels have to be official is because of taxes, obligation to it's artists (pay), and distribution (alot of times distribution companies won't pick up unofficial labels). It's no different than starting a business, and look how many people do that.
