I LOVED the album. This is a reminder why Nas is one of the greatest.

Nas didn't release a decent album since... Stillmatic. I only heard a couple of tracks off Life's Good but they were crap. Nas talking about money he got. I only liked the instrumentals, No I.D. lived up to his reputation.

agree with you man, with the exception of rick ross going off topic on "accident murderers" and the wackness of summer on smash, its a GREAT album...

I'm actually looking forward to this album

released so far:

Loco-Motive - decent, like the return to the boom bap not amazing but ok

Accident Murderers - was surprised Rick Ross actually had a good verse, but the song is kinda boring to me

Daughters - best song so far for me, mostly coz of the beat

The Don - I loved it when it first came out, but after playing it over and over i'm kinda bored of it now but its still ok liked the hypeness of the beat, annoyed by the voice at the beginning talking about poor people in the ghetto then nas rapping about how rich he is but its still a good song. I'm skeptical about whether Heavy D really had much to do with that beat though, or even Salaam Remi, that doesn't sound like Salaam's style

Nasty - only a bonus track, but pretty decent

Most Looking Forward to hearing:

Cherry Wine, just to hear Nas and Amywinehouse, she always makes a track sound good

Reach Out, again coz it features Mary J Blige which means its gonna have a good chorus and a soulful beat

From what you just said, it doesn't sound like anything to get excited about. I honestly don't care what Nas does anymore, all of his albums past Stillmatic have been disappointing.

Well looking at the track listing, the songs could be better when listening to them as part of an album rather than just singles. The album has so much production by Salaam Remi too who's a dope producer, so we could get a nas album with good beats this time

and his last album Distant Relatives was good too, his solo albums might have been disappointing but that Distant Relatives album was dope

I'm still fucking with this. I've liked Nas's last 3 albums without question. He's still got it, despite the popular opinion in the Underground. People are just upset cuz his sound isn't boom-bap anymore.

New release "Bye Baby", its odd how he's releasing all the songs like this. After hearing this I'm definitely buying the album, I'm gonna try and get the physical version too just coz they're becoming more rare these days, I bought the physical versions of Nas last two albums and I'm not even a big Nas fan
