o_O, things can be annoying in a good way?

It's really difficult (for me atleast) to flow at that speed all in one take, so I think I just need to practice at it. Idk...

Idk, I remember reading an article that was giving Kanye so much shit because he would punch in so many lines in each of his songs. It kinda made me think punchin in is looked down upon lol

lol dude, people only get shit for punching in when they suck at it and people can noticed that they punched in. if you rap with yourself, no one will notice you punched in, and hence there'll be no problem. everyone punches in. if Kanye still gets shit for it even when it's not noticeable, that's probably because he punches in every line or two which is absurd lol.

it's when an artist records over a part of their vocals in a song and tries to improve that section of the vocals. good artists are able to make the transition seamlessly so it sounds as though they never punched in.

Aesop Rock is an example of someone whose voice is "annoying" but certain people, including myself, think of it more as unique and love it.

oh yeah, i remember him! he can't write for shit though lol! a better example, in my opinion, would be Ahmad's early music.
