not really. alctaraz was offended by the use of the word used, where the show and movie glorify the use of the word and the public embrace it, which than causes the word to become second nature and watered down to those who do not know its history. alctraz may have been inconsiderate but in no way is he on bamboozled level. come now homie. nor am i claiming this is bacon

No offense taken at all lol. It was a poorly written poem. But don't use that as an excuse to stop writing poetry. The only way you get better is thru practice. People may disagree with me but I feel the best artist is able to present a message in the clearest and most attractive way possible. Just how essay writers are able to present a very clear message while attracting readers by using excellent diction (obviously, I'm not one of them lol). You're message would be that we are living in a society that is encouraging a superficial and prejudice behavior. However, reading your poem people could actually easily interpret the exact opposite of what you're trying to say. You did do a great job at grabbing peoples attention with the word nigger tho lol. You ever heard of the Willie Lynch model? Slave masters allowed the lighter skinned slaves in the house and gave them certain privileges that the dark slaves didn't have in order to keep the slaves preoccupied at war with each other to prevent uprisings. This model, I would argue, is still in use today, but in a different form. Now it gives advantages to white people in order to keep white and non-white (blacks, latinos, asians, etc.) people within the lower class at war while the upper class of all races gets over on everyone.
