Part of me doesn't want this album to come out... it might show a quality drop and ruin Rakim's place in hip hop. This is like a lot of artist who fall. He hasn't fell yet, but if he releases this album and it sucks. Then he will.

oh man those three rappers on the album will be gay, i hated Styles P's verse on Raekwon's album. Jadakiss is okay but i wish he would have had someone else instead. i think Akon will be ok for a Rakim song they might go well together

Akon makes shitty pop hits but if you listen to the little known tracks on his albums you will notice that he has some old school R&B type tracks as well. he can pull it off imo. this one actually has a video and i liked something about it when i first heard it. it reminded me of some Bel, Biv, Devoe or something, mainly by the rhythm. i think T-Pain produced it too because he's in the video playing the piano and on the backup vocals i think: a little bit too much touch up on his voice, but it's a dope track imo.

Akon was good when he first started blowing with Locked Up....he was doing some real shit but now hes making pop tracks....I think he can still pull off some good songs tho
