Sometimes, it's just good to ghost-produce just to get your foot in the door of the business. If it wouldn't for 'Ye ghost-producing for dudes like No I.D., he probably would have the fame he has now.

DaZ? no way daz actually made a diss record to dr. dre in 1998 about stealing production so why the hell would he be on it the next year? and hittman wrote most of dre's rhymes not the beats. Mel-Man was credited with producing every beat except for "The Message", Scott Storch credited for co-producing Still D.R.E and some other songs. Hittman paid publishing rights for the rhymes he ghostwrote for dre, Hittman said in an interview that that was what kept him fed all these years. Lord Finesse was credited alone for producing "The Message".

lol pfff..... i can understand why people wouldn't mind selling their beat to dre though, i mean they're beat would be famous. plus on a dope album. but im not sure if dre is really stealing production though, people just want to believe that coz dre is so famous. timbaland, kanye, even dj quik all use other producers, but they just get some dude like scott storch as a piano man like timbaland said when he dissed storch. they just replay the samples but change the sound to what the producer wants, notice every beat on 2001 were all samples.

and a lot of the beats on daz or dogg pounds albums weren't done by him but sometimes people think they were but soopafly, battlekat etc.
