I hate Canibus, I mean I literally can't stand the man. It's like Ja Rule (except I can't really back that up with anything except that he's garbage).. I was watching the BEEF 2003 DVD from Quincy Jones just the other day and ugh.. They had some footage of Ja.. 'MUUUUURDA' Stomping on stage like what ever and while I was thinking like.. 'Wtf..' the crowd was actually going wild. He also had some interview with some dude about some beef with 50 (Both whack rappers though I sort of like 50 up to a point, but not his music or views on certain things) but bottom line was ugh.. Like I hate his voice or what ever, I can't explain it. He was talking shit about Fifty and what ever and all the things he dissed Fifty with could've been used on himself. Like uhm, the reporter asked 'So what about the fifty situation'? Ja: *Corny ass fuck voice* WHO?! Reporter *fake laugh*: The Fifty Cent situation? Ja: *Same voice* WHO?! He's nobody I mean.. I HOPE DAT NIGGA BE DAT IT'S NOTHING IT'S NOTHING.. WE GANGSTA NIGGA. I mean shut the fuck up no one cares and to make things worse everyone can tell that you're phony.

But yeah the thing with Canibus was.. My first impression of Canibus was like.. Damn, this dude is disrespectful. I can't believe he dissed LL, someone who's been in the game for ages, you can't take that away from him. I mean, L did go at him first because of well, a line that may've not been as disrespectful as L made it out to be but the fact that he had the nerve to go all out on L was amazing to me.. L said that nobody'd know who his 4,3,2,1 verse was aimed at anyway but then apparently some things leaked. (For the record I'm not even an LL Cool J fan, I just have respect for him, he's a veteran in Hip-Hop). But as Moe Dee said in the long haul LL was too much for Canibus, that was the high point of Canibus's career.

Though the next example I heard about was something like.. Canibus met up with Eminem somewhere and Canibus tells him that he's got respect for him.. Bla Bla Bla, let's record a track together. Em apparently was pretty busy but tells him to send him a beat or what ever and he'd do it when he had the time. He sends Em a beat and he passed it away because he wasn't really feeling it. After this Canibus takes some pictures or what ever.. Some cartoons of Eminem look alikes trying to diss him, he didn't respond so eventually Canibus dissed him on some rather whack track tbh, one of them was Stan re-done.. Man that was whack as fuck too but to start beef over this.. What I gained from this was that Canibus is a controversy whore, if you get where I'm going with this.. Trying to spark a new beef to sell more records or what ever but all of his disses to Eminem where whack.. Eminem's response wasn't much better (Can-I-Bitch) but if I had to choose I'd choose CanIbitch over Canibus's tracks.

Controversy sells and so that's where I think Canibus is going, he also had a few more beefs if I'm not mistaken but yeah.. It's played out plus his diss records after Second Round KO sucked.

I'm also not at all into his music, I think he's a good lyricist but I don't feel like I need to hear about astronomy or what ever it is that he feels like talking about, I don't care about metaphores from space or anything like that and he's never ever touched a topic that I feel is really interesting (probably because he doesn't do tracks with topics). I also feel like his vocals are incredibly annoying, I can't stand the way the guy talks or rhymes for that matter.. I listened to few tracks of his awhile ago now and it gets boring really fast, it's always the same angry midget on the mic and he's always MAD.

If you like him then okay cool, I hope you won't disrespect my opinion though.

About the Ja Rule thing, I wasn't defending 50 Cent, it's just that Ja Rule is corny as fuck..

About the Canibus thing.. How can I even take you seriously if you can't even spell his name right? And come on man at least read my post.. He didn't have beef with Eminem because Eminem attacked him.. Canibus attacked Eminem over almost nothing. Either way his beef with LL Cool J was the highlight of his career so I'd say L ended it rather than anybody else.

Tho his beef with Eminem WAS useless as it was pathetic, that gives u no right to judge how good an artist is based on a beef....If u wanna judge him actually listen to one of CDs...(most preferably 2000 B.C.)

You're getting me wrong.. I don't like his character.. I wasn't defending what LL has done or Eminem or 50 Cent, I don't listen to any of their music really but the way Canibus picks beefs over nothing hoping to get controversy or what ever makes him look like a bitch to me.. You shouldn't need to beef everyone to sell records (not that it worked out well for him). He should show more respect to everyone and even LL.. You've got to respect LL man even if he's sold out he has had decent tracks here and there and he comes from way back.

This is why I don't like Canibus as a person and why I have close to zero respect for him.
