In order to be "real" Hip Hop you have to follow guidelines and be acknowledged by them....
Its like saying all black people like chicken
All real Hip Hop MC cant make a song for the radio

Like my boy Pnoble just said

To be Hip Hop u gotta be lyrical and cant have fun
To be rap u gotta have no lyrics and never make sense

And we are actually doing this without knowing it

So that means people that diss legends aren't hip-hop, right?

some legends need to be dissed...like im glad canibus dissed LL

and its hard 2 respect a movement every single member wants 2 change

why people that love hip hop would diss hip hop veterans and legends ?? that has no sense and when one MC does not respect the culture itself then there he falls apart from being hip hop

you gotta respect the culture if you wanna be Hip Hop

Okay so say if I respect Rakim, Kool G Rap, KRS-One as the greatest
But all I listen to is T.I., Soulja Boy, GS Boys, D4L Im not Hip Hop?!
To be hip hop I gotta only listen to wat is already labeled "real" Hip Hop?

I joined to find new music
As a teen in Omaha were they follow trends relentlessly I wanted to expand my knowlegde of MCs
I learned the "true" meaning of Hip Hop indirectly, but mainly to stray away from the trends
