Actually, there are pop artists with influences from other genres, not the other way around. Pop culture doesn't create trends, it takes trends and makes them popular. Therefore, hip hop artists can't be pop influenced but pop artists can be hip hop influenced.

isnt hip hop the largest selling genre? thats more of a testiment to hip hop then anything. and thats the stuff on the radio which we all agree is missing alot out from the underground
