It's called "trading verses" because they were doing just that. Em's, Joe's and Perce's verses were all pre-written. And FYI, the battle btw Finesse and Perce in 2003 was close but almost everyone agrees Perce ate him up. Either way, neither battle (2003 or 1989) was freestyled. Both were purely pre-writtens. Perce DESTROYED Finesse in 1989 though. Finesse got WAY better since then though. They have two COMPLETELY different styles too so it's hard to compare.

And theres no denying that most of these Southern Knights have fell off, but on the real Z-RO 50/50 and Cham would tear the shit out of Percee P, Lord F., BDK, and lot of your favs.

Yeah, Finesse definitely didn't shit on Perce, especially in 1989. The 2003 track they did was a bit closer but neither was really a battle. They were just trading rhymes and taping it. I asked Perce about it too. They were SOOOO pissed that the ice cream truck wouldn't leave! Lol! I guess they brought him a shitload of business that day but he kept it hard to hear because he was in the background the whole time.

Have you all even heard cham's and Z-RO's underground swisha house mixtapes. I got them even the dvds of them battling on Screw's stage. You can't even hear many of the shit I have. Unless you digg up shit on the internet. You know your right, I'm wrong. I'm comparing sounds and styles that are completely different.
