Yes, K-Rino. Have you not heard of him or are you saying he's not that good? That's like the best lyricist related to the SUC.

Yeah, Finesse definitely didn't shit on Perce, especially in 1989. The 2003 track they did was a bit closer but neither was really a battle. They were just trading rhymes and taping it. I asked Perce about it too. They were SOOOO pissed that the ice cream truck wouldn't leave! Lol! I guess they brought him a shitload of business that day but he kept it hard to hear because he was in the background the whole time.

nah i think Percee lost that battle when he forgot his lyrics, what amazes me though is the level of skill in those rhymes, that was 1989 and Percee was still using those same verses on his 07 album, finesse also used some of his verses on his album he released years later. I had no idea people rapped with that much skill back in those days.

Dude, Finesse was fucking boring in that first battle. Perce was straight ripping shit. Finesse wasn't that great back then. He's dope now, but seriously, Percee's lyrics were WAY ahead of Finesse's back then. And Perce never used those lyrics on a track, so what's wrong with him putting them out on an album later on?

nothings wrong with that, i'm just saying its amazing that his lyrics from back then are still so dope by today's standards, good enough to still be on a recent album. Finesse wasn't as lyrical as percee in that battle but he had a different style and went with punchlines, most of percee's rhymes seemed to go over the crowds head lol but honestly when percee forgot the lyrics and paused for a minute i think that could have lost him the battle. It was very even imo

Nah man, almost no one agrees with that. Most people agree that Perce won even when he forgot his lyrics.

And Uncharted, what is SPC???

which people are they? Mnemonic and his friends? most of the comments i was looking at either said they both killed it or Finnesse killed it, only a few said Percee won.

Hmmmm.... When I was looking at those videos, long before I met Mnemonic, EVERYONE was saying Perce won. The only people that I recall saying Finesse won were the people that were sort of cock riding because Finesse was more famous than Perce.

Yeah, that dude might just be the best lyricist in the south. Idk though because Jay Electronica is pretty damn lyrical as well and so is Andre 3000 at times.

I might have to agree with that. I've been listening to the "What The Fuck Is A Jay Electronica?!" Mixtape for the past 3 days on repeat. I just wish he'd release a fucking album already >( especially solely produced by him with beats like the one he made for "Queens Get The Money". That shit would be ILL!
