My man Mnemonic and i along with two of his boys went to a club last night to chill with DJ Muggs and B-Real as well as other cats that just happened to be there including Krondon, Evil E (Ice T's DJ), Lord Zen (The Visionaries), one of the members of Kottonmouth Kings (lol), etc. i guess The Alchemist was supposed to come but he wasn't there and Mnemonic invited Fatlip (from The Pharcyde) but he couldn't come either. anyways, Muggs was on the tables all night and a shitload of ladies (including a shitload of FIIIINE ASS chicks) were dancing to the old school/underground tracks he was playing (proving that you don't need to play mainstream BS in order to get people to dance) and when the night was finally over, we all got to chill with Muggs for a little bit, do business, etc. dude is mad cool. just because of who i was associated with, i didn't even approach him, but rather he came up to me and shook my hand and thanked me for coming. most artists curl up into their tour bus after a show. these guys came to rock a local LA club for little to no money where the fans only pay $5 to get in and he and B-Real just chilled with the fans all night. they didn't have to get paid to do it either. they just decided to come and hang out. i admire that. they put themselves out there as regular dudes. i can't say the same for a lot of artists, even, sadly, some of the other people i listen to. and mind you, we aren't talking about an infamous underground group here. we're talking about one of the highest selling hip hop acts of all time.

so true, sounds like it was a fantastic night, remind me of when i use to hang out in the clubs back in da days, artist just chilled and mixed in with the crowd or we'll all hang in the vip lounge to dance and drink

lol they never ran off in their bus lol..its so different now..

thats how i felt back then but u tend to regret it later a bit later on like i do, i wish i had taken more pics when i party hardied with the celebs like public enemy, eric b & rakim, wutang, douge fresh etc..but i was having to much fun lol..only pics i have are some with heavy d & the boys, i think some of ll cool jay, red alert, slick rick and not sure who else..but i guess its different for a guy to break out a cam LOL than a girl..

lol you should have got some pics with your phone or something, if they're willing to hang out with fans i'm sure they'd be willing to take some pics. anyway sounds dope, too bad i live in nz lol, no famous people here. i wanna go to america some day
