haven't listened to his albums entirely, i think I_Guy might be the man to ask here, one thing i do know is that he repeats a lot of verses on other songs,

never knew he shot a video for this dr. dre diss. he was the first to leave death row

After RBX Files he went into a slump. On RBX Files he had Gregski who came out of Death Row as a hand behind The Chronic production. So as a result RBX gets great production on his first solo albsum. But after that he dwindled a bit for a while, mainly because he lost Gregski as the producer. And he lost the old school flavor that he had. No Mercy No Remorse was shit, he repeated the most shit on that album more than any other. The production was crap too. Rip The Game Bloody wasn't very good either, but still an improvement. But The Shining was a good come back, his lyrics were improved and the production was by bigger producers. I don't know about Broken Silence or his newest one.

We all know that each of our end is near; the question is do we accept the end of our living existence, or do we accept our existence as dead men...

that album got so many shitty reviews (mainly because of his voice). are you sure you'd recommend that? wouldn't "No One Can Do It Better" be a superior choice?

"Helter Skelter" is better than "No One Can Do It Better". Fuck the reviews man, cop it and judge it by yourself. The D.O.C. got waaaay better and more complex lyrics than on his debut. Whole album is dark and raw, and his voice is great. I was kinda confused at first, but now I love it and its defo one of biggest highlights of 90's and one of most underrated album ever, not only in hip-hop.
Beats are amazing too. I recommend it to all of you, and mostly, to the grimey raw hip-hop and Wu fans

the reason i went and just said that it was probably shit is because this is a pretty accurate and reliable source for how good or bad an album is. it isn't a critic's review, it's a review by the people who listen to the music. opinions i trust say this album is one of the worst in hip hop history.

You never know how does it sound until you won't give it a listen. You got me suprised by your attitude because YOU said "Opinions are like voices, we all have a different kind" and I thought that you always want to check everything by yourself. :D
abanks, go check that album, I highly recommend it. people on forum who actually heard that and they are loving it too. lemme know, I can upload it on our blogspot

btw I reviewed it here

I'm not taking other peoples' opinion on it, I'm just saying what I had heard. The thing is that I was never inclined to hear it before because a source I consider credible was calling it one of the worst hip hop albums ever made. They weren't even just saying it was a disappointment. Dudes there practically compared it to some Soulja Boy shit.. Up it to the blogspot, I want to hear it.

shake

it may be better if you're a hardcore hardcore D.O.C fan, there are some good tracks on it actually, once you get used to his voice, the people on that site probably listened to it once, heard his raspy voice and were put off. the beats from Erotic D were pretty sick, Erotic D even assisted Dre with a couple samples from the Niggaz4Life album.

best song off that is From Ruthless 2 Death Row. that song is not on youtube though, only the remix of it is on youtube which is nowhere near as good.

actually, one of the dudes on that site, who i usually trust with his opinion, said that the beats and DOC's lyrics sucked too. i'll check it before judging though. i'll let you guys know what i think.
