Quote (Lord_Meth) Brother Ali best album isnt Undisputed Truth, its Us!! i won't judge without listening, but i highly doubt that. the few tracks i heard from Us were less than remarkable. most people, however, would probably argue that "Shadows on the Sun" is his best though. i've only heard Undisputed Truth though so i won't judge. Quote (Lord_Meth) Ew that album was horrendous! you're horrendous!

I don't think this guy is popular. I've only known one other person that had ever heard of him. Agent Blak - Supa Fresh B-Boy Agent Blak - Check Mate (you MUST turn this up and listen to the samples in this one) It's a chloroform deploying portable enticement snare.

Agent Blak seems to be more of a producer than a DJ now. Glad I could turn a few of you onto him. Those tracks I posted are among his best. My only complaint would be against his preference to use one drum kit on every song for a whole album. Hearing the exact same bump-click sounds for too long drives me crazy. . I'm almost 100% positive that you've never heard of Pokoj Czarnych Plyt. He's currently teamed with DJ Krug. His older work (below) is on the edge of Hip Hop and perfect for Shadow-like fillers on a playlist or quick mixtape. It's also a little difficult to find. Pokoj Czarnych Plyt - Bass Time Pokoj Czarnych Plyt - Happy Time Added (07/Mar/10, 7:45 Am) --------------------------------------------- Artist: Freestyle Fellowship Album: To whom it may concern...

Quote (EverGlazed) The Nonce - World Ultimate i heard the hit track off this album i think on XM Backspin. that shit is SICK! LA BABY!: are all the tracks on that album as sick as "Mix Tapes"? Quote (EverGlazed) People Under The Stairs - O.S.T. id hardly call anything by PUTS obscure. they are a pretty huge group, especially here in the Los Angeles hip hop scene. i hear "S.F. Knights" on college radio all the time. they performed on the same stage as Ice Cube and Raekwon at Paid Dues for Christ sake! lol

Hardly any Hip Hop heads in the UK have heard of em.lol I thought they were underground...oh well. Should really post some EP's an LP's if were talkin' about the real underground shit... i'll definitely listen to that Nonce shit later. thanks for posting! Quote (EverGlazed) I thought they were underground they are definitely underground but underground is pretty big in the US. you need to remember, Stones Throw Records, Delicious Vinyl, and many independent music stores are located in LA, and NY is even more of a hub for underground hip hop (Definitive Jux, Fat Beats, etc.). here in the US we have several huge festivals for underground hip hop. Paid Dues, Rock The Bells, SXSW, etc., all have a large selection of independent hip hop acts and have attendance of over 20,000 (RTB is usually closer to 50,000).

Yehhh I get ya man. I guess the underground scene is massive in the US. Underground Hip Hop isnt that big in the UK but there are a few well known MC's that stray away from the mainstream scene. Jehst is probly the most mainstream underground MC in the UK...if ya get me.lol Dont get me wrong, there is a UK Underground scene, but Hip Hop heads seem to be few and far between here.
