LIL WAYNE

unfortunatley lil wayne is a rapper and rapping is one of the 4 elements, he is hip hop but his lyrical content and beats to me are very shitty(attributes that are often found in "hip pop")

G.R.I.T.S. "Factors of the 7

hmm i liked it, but i thought it was aimed more towards a contemporary gospel audience vs. a hip-hop audience

I looked at the moon so full and so bright
And then at the fireplace with its flickering light
And realised why this world will never be right

its a difference between rap and hip hop as is a difference between a MC and a rapper or a hip hop album and a rap album rap music left our culture a long time ago rap music is the product of corporate america tryin to sell our culture

illmatic is the difinition of "overrated"

man that is a great album. i really hate to say this but i think a lot of people over rate The Chronic by Dr. Dre, its a great album and one of the best produced albums but a lot of people say it was the best album ever which isn't true.

I get where youre going ,the only thing i like in the companyes is that they categorize Rap/Hip-Hop not only Rap or only hip-hop atleast that shows they know theres a diference ,even tho they put both even when they categorize a Nas album or a Lil Wayne album
