ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourselves for 4 serious disappointments! if any of those actually come out they will suck! i've heard enough tracks from Seventh Seal to know this. go to Ra's myspace and you will see what i mean. as for Relapse, just listen to "Crack A Bottle." say no more. Detox is going to be full of 50, sellout Eminem, Lil Wayne, etc., so fuck that shit. and Jada? the dude that did the remix of "Ay Bay Bay"? pfft! nah! it'll be wack!

in other words your stupid underground elitist opinion has disabled you to anticipate anything potentially successful?

CD's gotta sell wood to get play out of "real hip hop heads"? can't appreciate anything that is moderately popular.

no, see, i'm not too closed minded to actually check them out, i am just not expecting very much based on their recent work. i was a bit pompous in my comment there, so i apologize, but i'd have to say that i think it would be a better idea to open up your mind to lesser known stuff. SOOOO many people are expecting Jesus' second coming out of OB4CL2, Relapse, Detox, 7th Seal, and they are all naturally setting themselves up for disappointment. i guarantee if you set low expectations, if they do end up being good, you will get a lot more out of them when they do come out. i'll be the first to defend those albums if they are as dope as people say they'll be, but i really don't expect much, plus i've heard potential material from several of them and it all sounds disappointing.

i've heard every wu track from ghostface and mf doom - chinatown wars to Genius - Come Do Me and Prince Rakeem - Ooh We Love You Rakim

and nothing can amount to wu-tang and their affiliates in their prime, in my opinion. so with that said i probably have heard the lesser known old stuff I just want some good music i've never heard from the clan.

tbh the only albums i have really high hopes for is La the Darkman's sophomore album and one that isn't even a for sure thing, Killa Sin coming out the bin in 2010, supposedly going to FINALLY work on a solo album and he is the nicest.
