I say it depends on the victims.

truth the judicial system manipulate that according to they own standurds and not really the crime, I saw this one case where they let this teen off easy just because of his academic achievements and he had apply to Princeton of something but the next person who cammets the same crime but doesn't have the achivements they won't go easy on yeah it's a mess

life sentence is better.....why kill someone for killing others? thats just getting us no where

the only crime that deserves the death penalty is suicide

Give em the life sentence, most people who are doing life break down and commit suicide in prison anyways, sex offenders also have huge targets on their backs, they have to be separated from other inmates or theyll get shanked.

Against, not much to say there. Let's say you get charged/framed or what ever for killing someone, you didn't do it and the next thing you know is that some Texas hill billy is shoving a needle into your arm.

Well the reason I say it depends is because look at Tim McVeigh. I say he should have gotten life because he killed children in the bombing as well, so killing him would just put him out of his misery like a dying animal. Hell, they even gave him his choice for his last meal and had a pre-requiem. WTF is up with that!??!?!?! But, in some instances, killing 'em is the only way to ensure safety of human life (for a while).

yeah there are certain people that can still be a threat even behind bars like bosses of organised crime etc, they all still do their work from behind bars so its better for people like them to get the death penalty if they have been put away for a crime that serious.

thats why i have mixed feelings about it becasue my cousin just got out of prison after serving 20 years for a crime he committed when he was 15, he was a good kid that made the wrong choices.. he did killl someone because the gun went off in a gang fight but he didnt plan it, it was a big mistake and now he's getting a second chance and so far is doing well. now some will say he should have gotten life or death pen because the other kid that died doesnt get another chance at life. on the other hand my dad was shot and killed, the guys that shot him got 20 years and are out living a free life while my dad lost his life young for no reason and can't ever come back..so thats why i have so many mixed feelings. now if i had to vote on it right now, i'll probably pic "no death penalty" because if those guys were put to death, it still wasn't going to bring my dad back.
